Spreadex appoints new Head of Financial Trading
Financial and sports spread betting firm Spreadex has appointed a new Manager of its Financial Trading Room.
Tom Salmon has taken up the role at the age of just 25 after impressing during his four years with the firm.
Spreadex Managing Director Jonathan Hufford said: “We like to think of ourselves as a forward thinking company and are keen to promote people to positions of responsibility when they have proved their worth, no matter what their age.
“Tom has been behind a number of successful changes in the financial room recently including expanding our range of Spot currency pairs and reducing spread widths, margin levels and minimum stake sizes in some of our more popular markets.
“He will now be overseeing a number of other exciting developments including the launch of our financial mobile trading product early next year.”
Tom is originally from Blackpool and studied maths at Manchester University, where he specialised in applied maths.
