I’ve downloaded the SpreadCo Saturn Trader Platform for my desktop today. It’s pretty much the same as the web based platform but you can save your own layouts and do various other bits and bobs. I have to say the more I use the saturn trader platform the more I come to like it. I still think there is room for improvement but I don’t think any spread betting firm will get their platform so that 100% of its users are 100% happy with it. I think different people want different things from their spread betting platform and to try and please everyone would be an impossible task. One of the key features I like about the Saturn trader platform is the charting, and with the platform developed in house they are open to suggestions for improvements. If you would like to try out the Saturn Trader Platform from Spread Co why not open an account with them.
My own spread betting action has consisted of monitoring my positions and adjusting stops today. With the news of the banks giving into the mis-selling of PPI my Barclays position took a tumble, hardly surprising with the report they have set aside £1bn for possible payouts. It’s a good job I’m short the stock otherwise I’d be losing out. How much further will the stock fall? I have no idea. I’m in the trade until I get the exit signal according to my strategy. Hopefully this will come when I’ve made a nice healthy profit.
I keep meaning to get round to sending out my first spread betting beginner news letter. The problem is I’ve been struggling to find the time. Still it’s good news if you have yet to subscribe. There is still time to get in before I send out the first news letter. It will be sometime this month but I can’t say when for sure. Still if you’ve subscribed you’ll be the first to know when it’s sent out.
Until next time,
“May the markets be with you!”
Harry,
